About

Allison Muir is a San Franciscan born interior designer. She began her visual practice within the film and video industry. During her varied career she has designed D.I.Y. projects for ReadyMade magazine, coordinated post-production for clients such as Industrial Light and Magic, Dreamworks, Pixar, and has produced and written for Al Gore’s Current TV. Allison coordinated the 3D Design Studio for an architectural firm producing 3D renderings and animations which helped transition Allison towards her path to interiors. That career shift, along with several intensive hands-on home renovations, sent Allison to the U.C. Berkeley Extension program for a multi-year intensive Interior Design and Architecture program. Allison holds a degree in Film and Video from U.C. Santa Cruz and has also studied at the University of Sussex in the U.K.
